Alan Hailston

as the ad man

"I have put myself on the front lines in the ad biz and learned how to become successful out of necessity. Like any battle to be waged, the secret weapon to a successful ad campaign is to point the cannons in the right direction! That is to say, understand the strengths of the advertising media, your marketplace demographics and where the customers are most concentrated in their viewing, listening and reading habits. Then, fire away...aggressively and consistently.

Newspaper and Print Collateral

My style and treatment of newspaper ad design and other print materials utilizes the same straight forward approach I use in TV commercials. Large in size and commanding in attention, ads must get the readers attention, offer a reason to buy now and create a sense of urgency. That's what I believe "rings the cash register". And, it's not something I learned from an online marketing course. My talent in layout and graphic design developed and grew by working with, learning from, and helping to grow, many different retail businesses over the years! Hey, it's either in your blood or it's not. It's in mine!"
